I met someone the other day who didn’t like to travel to Hill Stations. Has this ever happened to you? She was certainly the first person I’ve met as long as I can remember who just didn’t feel the urge to see the nature's beauty and discover something new apart from all artificial man made stuff . The love of travelling to such places is such places gives us time for ourselves as well as makes us realize how beautiful the nature is. After Meeting this person made me think of reasons to love travelling to hill stations. Here are the few reasons....

  • New sights

Travelling to places makes us see new things apart from what we see everyday. I think travelling to hill stations makes us know much more about the nature. Hill stations have really nice sunrise and sunset point which makes the sky beautiful and cannot be seen from any other place. Travelling to such places forces your eyes open because you’re seeing things you’ve never seen before and makes you feel fresh and reduces stress.

  •  In the present moment

When anyone is at work, it’s easy to get caught up in the future, or thinking about things that have passed, or wondering what’s going to happen next week. But while travelling, it’s all about the present moment. Right now, and nothing else. Who knows what will happen next ?or When can we visit such a place again? Who can imagine what we’ll be seeing this time next week? It brings a marvelous immediacy to every day or every time when we are out.

  •  Unfamiliar food

We eat the same kind of food, over and over again, at home. I certainly will. But while travelling we see different culture with all kinds of unfamiliar food, which we hardly get to see or taste. It’s like an instant broadening of horizons for the palate.
  •  Meeting new people

It is possible to meet new people at home, of course, but many of us stick to our same group of friends when we’re in our comfort zone. That’s where you’ll meet people who are either entertaining for just one conversation or day, or will become friends that last for many years. Meeting new people makes you know more things about other places or gives us an idea where to travel next.

  • Shopping
Shopping while travelling is the best way to explore a different city or culture with different attire. i think it is fascinating to see the mix of products, styles and colors and how they differ from your hometown's selection.

  •  A renewed appreciation for home

The best part about travelling is Leaving home with a bag, even if it’s just for a few weeks, makes it come alive again when you return. You can see just how vibrant, how wonderful, how beautiful your hometown is.
